Bitch Get Your Mind Right!

Make you say unnnnnnhhhh! I never understood why Master P named his company No Limit Records... I looked up this song because the mantra "Bitch, get your mind right!" The words telling you they are "no limit soldiers, I thought I told you." Two things: They are claiming no limits to the level of success they could attain...and second, they telling you they spoke that shit into existence.

What are your limits? Why? Don't create any limitations, just start taking steps towards what it is you really really desire. Be a no limit soldier and speak into existence what it is what you desire. And be sure to speak in present tense. For example,

I am wealthy. I am a successful business owner.
I am the most after motivational speaker.
I am impacting a billion peoples minds, lives, and bank accounts.
I am healing.
I am perseverance.
I am the person I desire to come.

 ... And so it is! Affirmations and mirror work are major when it comes to transformations, reprogramming your subconscious mind and laying the mental and emotional groundwork for success. If you are new to the practices, they may feel funny-akward at first. With the right client (meaning the open, receptive type), I tell them to take mirror work a step further by standing in their best superhero pose while stating affirmations. They don't call it transformations for the hell of it. You will literally feel like you went from being a little yellow car to a super powerful autobot.

So, I hope you listen to the song and get hype, ignore all the thug talk, unless you feelin gangsta, lol. The moral of the story is get yor mind right friends. The next level of success awaits!

Feel Like You Need A Breakthrough Before You Breakdown?

Feeling like your about to have a meltdown? Hell, sometimes me too! Imagine the scenario…I just received news that rent is being raised and/or I gotta move by the end of the month. And I have less than $25 in my bank account. I say to myself Shift Happens and I gotta find the toothpaste, my ride is en route. My business partner pulls up with a nail in the tire. It’s not even noon, in which we have an important meeting scheduled. As a matter of fact it was 11:06! 

Great, like we can get to a tire shop, and out, with time to spare to arrive on time to the meeting. I believe that early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable. Ok, I called to postpone the meeting no problem, off to the tire shop. 

The tire wasn’t pluggable, but we were blessed for the tire man giving us a deal. We agree that this is just the Universe trying us and are ready to get this show on the road, we run out of gas before we can pull off. Really? Luckily, it was because it was because we were parked sideways on an incline. So the sweet young tire man pushes us onto level ground; the car starts. There is a God. And what I had to remind the both us of, is that the Universe is only conditioning us, testing our resolve. And anytime shit gets real crazy, something amazing happens. That’s exactly what I was expecting to happen next.

Oh something amazing happen alright. We pull up in the parking lot of the building where the meeting is and coffee spills in my seat, on the ass, down the thigh, of my white seersuckers. Come on Universe! I am expecting a day to wow me, but not like this. I was thinking something more positive, sheesh.  

I had been reading the Scroll Marked III, from the Greatest Salesman In The World by Og Mandino. Life transforming book! Mandino tells about how in the Orient young bulls are tested by putting them in the ring with a picador, who is ready to poke them with a lance. He instructs readers to be lions, not sheep waiting to be prodded by the shepherd. Well, I was feeling poked, prodded and put to the test!  I had to channel the inner bull spirit and prepare to be charge again despite the sting of life's blade. I am a lion. I will not walk, talk or sleep with sheep. I will persist. I will win! 

Just at the moment when you are ready to call it quits, can be the moment that brings your breakthrough so don’t give up. Do not get weary in well doing. Always remember that every obstacle comes with the opportunity to become greater, wiser, stronger and more than what you were prior to the lesson. Smile in the face of adversity knowing it is Source Energy’s way of molding you into what you have expressed desire to be and to have. We are not alone in our battle against adversity. Everyone is fighting some battle. Take courage my friends. This is all for your greatest good. And if you're wondering what did I do about my iced coffee butt, I tied a sweater around my waist, put on my bright red lipstick and said 

I AM a champion. I AM a winner. I AM successful at whatever I attempt. I AM abundant. I AM FEARLESS. I AM landing this deal with ease. I am trusting the Laws of the Universe to serve me my greatest good. I AM deserving of what I desire. I AM love. I AM all powerful. I am all that and a bag of chips! I am intelligent. I am charismatic. I am a game-changer. I am the best entertainment marketing specialist.  I AM perfectly created. I AM capable. I am prosperous. I AM a money magnet. I AM THAT I AM!

And so it is. I love you. I believe in you. Be Happy. Be Healthy. Be You!

Shift Happens...

Shit happens so shift happens is what Ive heard... I can agree. The Universe has this methodical way of letting shit happen to shift our ass into gear. So instead of whining and complaining about your situation, find the "value in the valley. Napoleon Hill says with "every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit." And if you have been to a Christian Church enough times or actually have read the Bible you have heard the scripture "count it all joy." When I tell people to count their trials and tribulations as joy, they tend to look confused... Then that's when I whip out that Wayne Dyer "if you're irritated by every rub, how will you ever become polished?" That usually puts things in perspective and they smile.

I have to remind myself of this same ideology, on the regular. The best is when someone doesn't like the not-so-positive response from me. And that's when get a lesson on yin and yang, the balance between darkness and light, or more popular taking the good with the bad. Rain makes us appreciate sunny days more (unless you're a farmer). Likewise success without struggle has little value.

If your desire is to become mad successful, you may need to know that nobody wants to hear a story of someone going from good to great, from mountain top to mountain top. Noooooooo, we like those rags to riches story. We adhere to those "I was sleeping in my car homeless for years" kind of success stories. Because I know I will have success beyond my imagination, I just say "it's all apart of the movie." Then I correct myself, movie series. My story will be one those Netflix-binge-watching series. STOP Waiting For Perfection, Just Get Started!

I won't ask you to tell on yourself, but how many people do you know who are waiting to start something new? A new diet? A new career? Start a new business? Make a Youtube video? Sing a song? Write a book? Ooh-ooh what about a new exercise routine?


Ok, so now that we have someone in mind who's been talking about doing this, that and another... Let's talk about what to do next... GET STARTED! Don't wait another day, don't make another excuse. I remember hanging out at Kymatic Studios in St Petersburg, FL last Fall vibing with budding artists Topaz Hooper and aspiring artist. The second young lady was talking about doing videos to accompany her songs, but felt she needed to have this and have that. In response, I introduced them both to my my YouTube Channel, explaining that I too, used to wait. 

I wanted perfect lighting, I needed to be wearing makeup, be dressed properly and have a decent backdrop. I wanted to have my speeches written or at least some notes. an outline, Cliff's Notes, something. I wanted to feel prepared! And all those irrelevant concepts had anything to do with my message. Ironically, Miss Hooper asked me "Are you a motivational speaker?" Check please... I wanted to hide my red face and ears because the teacher just learned the lesson. I need to get started on my mission to be the top motivational speaker. The real revelation just happened now, as I type this blog. Where yes I have been posting videos, microblogs and blogs, but no I have not completed my profile on Gigmasters. I had not reached out to anyone about me speaking to their group or company. 

Obviously, I have some work to do... How about you? What step can you take to get started? I dare you to find the most minimal step. If it's a passport is what you desire. Go online and fill out the app, that cost zero dollars and maybe $0.30 to print it out at the library. Success is a series of baby steps. Don't wait for permission, don't wait for perfect circumstances, don't wait for the courage. And I promise your fear will be there when you get done, if you still need it. 

Today, I am sharing a video that I recorded in the process of moving out of my apartment, so the background is horrible. I wasn't wearing makeup, hell I was still wearing my robe! However, I did not allow any of this to stop me. The message was the delivered despite my imagined setbacks.

Breaking News: It's OK To Make Mistakes

BREAKING NEWS!

Give your self a break! If you could have done different you would have. We generally make the best decision we can at the time with the information we were working with. We ALL make mistakes; to err is human (to forgive divine). So while we're at it let's give those around us a break as well. 

It seems like people hold others accountable to a higher standard than they hold themselves. We hold our parents to a higher standard. We hold our children to the highest standard, when we usually haven't set such an example for them to follow. If I am not mistaken, mistakes aren't age or any demographic specific. I believe that there is really is no such thing as making mistakes. There are opportunities to learn, grow and develop. 

We are all works in progress. Moreover, be forgiving of yourself first and then begin to forgive those around you. One the most powerful books I have read, "A Course In Miracles", teaches that forgiveness is the key to happiness. By show of hands, who wants happiness??? Go ahead no one's looking... And if they are phuck 'em! They need some of this good juju too. Matter of fact, go ahead email this blog to them. (That's the cute little envelope at the bottom of this post.) 

Now go ahead and make some mistakes and smile thinking that you are being blessed with the opportunity to be a better you. I love you. I believe in you. I believe that WE will WIN!

I Know It's Friday, but don't lose Focus Entrepreneurs

TGIF huh? Very often on Friday's we feel the tired from all week built up on us and we're just ready to sit down and take a break. ""No sleep till Brooklyn"...Please don't think I don't condone rest periods, but understand resting and allowing your mind and body to rejuvenate is "doing something." We don't need you burning out before the finish line. I'll confess I am the Nigist (queen) of naps and mediation breaks. What's Your WHY?

Have you ever thought about what your "why" is? This week my focus has been on Focus itself. We've identified how to give focus to our vision, now what gives us focus in life? At my very first 5LINX International Training Convention I learned that why stood for 

               W hat

               H urts

               Y  ou   

So take a moment to think about it, what hurts you? What situation is bothering you? What difference do you want to make in the world? Whose life or lives do you want to change? What drives you to keep pushing? What problem do you think if you were in a better financial position? 

Be careful in allowing money to be your motivation. Your goal and dream will drive you more if it is not money related. Your WHY must be so strong, it will make you cry. If your WHY can make you cry, it can make you wake up in the morning, jumping out of bed, running to scratch the first thing off your agenda, to-do list, or first line of business. 

Now that you have figured out your WHY, find something to remind you of that WHY such as a picture. Definitely write it down. "It was written." Writing down our ideas reenforce them and give us an opportunity to get clear. Your WHY is tied to your purpose.  

On that quote, Im out...I love you. I believe in you. And I believe that we will win!

The level of production a nd achievement is higher when a person is focus. Laser beam focus. If you don't understand what that means, google it and replicate it in your thoughts and actions. The formula is simple...

Sometimes life seems like it doesn't work out the way we want, but it always works out for you and your greater good in the end. Be alert to the path that is being lit up for you. Attempt not to be resistant to the present moment, the people currently present your life, or the feelings you feel. At some point, you have launched a rocket of desire in which Universe is responding to. Unfortunately, sometimes the response isn't what we're looking for, blessings don't always come wrapped with a bow. Sometimes we go through conditioning, you know like runners beginning track season. Know and trust that GOD always says yes to you. 

You:    I'm broke and need some money! 
GOD:  Yes you are, yes you do. 
You:    I am happy and abundant in every area of my life.
GOD:  Yes you are.

So, what is it that you would like GOD to say yes to??? 

ASK and you will receive. SEEK and you will find. KNOCK and the door will be opened to you. It is done!

Unphuck Your Self!

In the story of the Prodigal Son, (Luke 15:11-32) it says "he came to himself.." Where did his Self go? 

What happened was Self was present but Ego was reigning supreme. It is ego that affords you to judge yourself and others, not recognizing that those we encounter are mere reflections of us. Do not allow external noise to drown out the voice of Spirit, cloud your vision or influence to dilute the very essence of your being. You are a being of Light and Love. You are made of stardust dammit! LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE! 

Phuck the nay-sayers, discouraging loved ones and haters (who really envy you). Encourage yourself and encourage your Self to rightfully claim position as Captain of your ship. We as humans are blessed with an inner guidance system that if turned on, and tuned in, will perfectly direct us to our desired Self and physical manifestations. So whomever or whatever happened that convinced you not be You....forget all of that. Forgive the the people. Forgive yourself. Forgive God. REMEMBER your greatness! Remember who you were and are. Remember what you are still capable of being and doing. If people don't receive you in all your luster, let their dull azzes fade away...
